The Backyard at Blas - supported by Bank of Ireland – is a dedicated space for producers, chefs, and key personnel from the food industry to meet, share knowledge and gain support for their businesses at the annual Blas na hÉireann, Irish Food Awards in Dingle. The Backyard hosts a range of speakers who share their experiences and offer thoughts on how others can help their businesses to grow. Working with the Blas team, I manage the venue set up, brief and liaise with sponsors, speakers, and panel hosts, welcome attendees and encourage them to network and ensure the smooth running of the two-day event. PR Consultant, VivaGreen
I provide strategic communications advice to Irish company, VivaGreen, to promote the company’s range of Irish-made, eco-friendly garden and household products among consumers and retailers. Developing and implementing an integrated PR and marketing campaign on the launch of VivaGreen’s new Tru Eco™ range of refillable, eco-friendly laundry and household products in October 2021. Media coverage of the launch was achieved in national and regional broadcast, print, and digital outlets - highlights include, Virgin Media Television, Ireland AM, Backing Business series; RTÉ 1 Television, Today show, Newstalk’s Down To Business with Bobby Kerr, and The Home Show with Sinead Ryan; and Galway Bay FM, Galway Talks with Keith Finnegan. Coverage was also achieved in consumer, parenting, business, and environmental digital and print media outlets.

I worked with brother and sister, Terence and Sophie Madigan from Dublin to develop and manage the media launch of KRIB, a new revolutionary Irish product that they developed, which provides hot water on demand without turning on the heating or the immersion. We secured an interview on RTÉ Television, The Late Late Show entrepreneur special, national print and radio feature interviews, and media coverage in business, tech and trade publications.
To mark the third anniversary of his near-fatal brain injury and recovery, CEO Tom Moran abseiled off the new nine-storey extension at the Red Cow Moran Hotel on Sunday, 2nd June 2019 to raise €200,000 towards building a dedicated Brain Disease Resource and Research Centre at St. James’s Hospital. I managed the media campaign for the event, which attracted a record-breaking 160 abseilers. Coverage was achieved in local and national print media, and an interview on RTÉ Radio 1, The Ray D’Arcy Show. Virgin Television Media’s, Weekend AM filmed live from the event, interviewing celebrities and spokespeople, and the show’s presenter, Aidan Power, abseiling live on air.
